What's happening?
On September 19th, a new edition of Ladies First took place at the headquarters of the Porsche Center of the Balearic Islands, which was entitled this year as the #OPENUP Celebration.
The reason for the celebration was the Vicente Ferrer Foundation empowering girls in India through the project chosen this year to allocate the fundraising: “Bicycles with power”.
The gala, a feminine-based gathering, by the hand of 5 unique partners and with the collaboration of 13 brands and professionals, aimed to be a journey composed of colors, fragances and flavors inspired by India, all with a humanitarian purpose.
Brands-partners of the event such as MARCEL REMUS, MAR CAPITAL, XARIG, FRONDA, EXCLUSIVE and THE PORSCHE BALEARES CENTER made it possible for the exclusive Porsche dealership in the Son Valentí industrial estate to be transformed, for a few hours, into an experiential space inspired by India, by its colors, fragrances and flavors, offering the 100 guests invited to the exclusive and reduced event a trip full of surprises and discoveries.
Attendants were welcomed with flower garlands signed by Fronda, who also filled the space with blossoms and plants in the two corporate colors of the event: the Royal Blue and the Light Marigold. Also, the event had cocktails expressly created for the occasion by Rafa Martín del Brass Club with the collaboration of Mallorca Distillery and Franklin & Sons, as well as the eminent delicious snacks from the Krishna Hindu restaurant.
Indeed, the experiences were the strong point of a night that was too short to do a blind tasting of the spices made by Especias Crespi or to dare to get a henna tattoo, by Henna Mallorca.
You could also taste for the first time the 2 new wines presented by Can Axartell and cava Marta thanks to Catavinos, and get to know closely the artist of German origin, Britta Hurter, who created a work specifically for the occasion to be auctioned. Also, the Photo Buzz didn’t go unnoticed.
The night was full of surprises such as the interventions of the Arts Research Center, who performed 3 Hindu-inspired dances, as well as the numerous gifts that were raffled and distributed throughout the night.
LADIES FIRST also wanted to honor the work of 4 women:
The Group of Women Managers of the DCU (Department of Chemistry of the UIB), the Michelin star-awarded chef and businesswoman Maca De Castro, and the Mallorcan jeweler, Isabel Guarch, on the anniversary of her 15 years of Mediterranean collections.
In addition, Ana Seco Garcerán was named this year's Porsche ambassador.
Every moment of this wonderful event took place in an environment of celebration, full of light and color, set by MABULL AUDIOVISUALS and to the rhythm of DJ LODY.
